If you are not getting my Covid Updates via email, let me know.
Stay Home!
If you suspect you have Covid-19, stay home. Call me to discuss and arrange an in-person appointment.
Wear a mask!
Wear a mask whenever you are indoors with people whose Covid status is unknown. N95, KN95, N94 and KN94 masks are now widely available. They are far more effective than other types of masks.
Get Vaccinated!
Vaccines are widely available throughout the city. If you have any vaccine hesitancy, contact me to discuss.
Respiratory Hygiene
1. Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. It is best to cough or sneeze into your elbow (but make sure that you are able to get your arm in the proper position to make a good seal around your nose and mouth--most people perform this method improperly).
Another way is to cover your mouth and nose completely with your hand or tissue.
A good way to practice a proper cover is to speak out loud while covering. If your voice does not sound muffled, your cover is not adequate. Adjust and try again.
If you cover with your hand, wash your hands afterwards.
It is important to remember that most people with COVID-19 do not require hospitalization.
‣ If you have a cough or fever or sore throat, please call me for instructions to keep you and your community safe.
Isolate yourself inside your home, away from family members, and practice good respiratory hygiene.

‣ If you have severe symptoms with shortness of breath, you should go to the emergency department.
Do not take public transport/taxi or ride share. You should call an ambulance.
